Senate set to vote on these 4 points...
1. Background Checks for gun shows and private sales.
2. Laws to prevent the mentally ill from buying guns.
3. Federal database to track gun sales.
4. Ban on assault-style weapons.

1. BCGs already exist at gun shows for businesses. Private sales at gun shows is the only "loophole". This may mean private sales across the board. Has potential = still a probable fail
2. How do they determine mentally ill? What is the benchmark? Is postpartum depression considered mentally ill? How does this involve HIPAA? Too ambiguous = Fail
3. Will this cause people to force registration of guns? Will this database be available to public? Can of worms here. Too privately invasive = Fail
4. Who determines what is 'assault-style'? Is it aesthetic, function, and/or name? This was stupid before and did NOTHING to benefit lives, how is it not stupid now? = Double Fail

It is ILLEGAL to SELL assault weapons to a non-licensed person. And that is Tracked! The dummies you have to have an FFL to have an automatic weapon, or assault weapon!
