Perhaps five years in POW camp provided significant maturity.

Oh if they knew him as well as I and my family do. They would spit in his eye. He was a piss poor pilot, his fellow Naval Aviators called him "Crash McCain" (the only reason he was not thrown out of flight school when he crashed a plane due to incompetence and disregards for regulations is because of Daddy and GramPa) Those of us who served with him (My Brother and I) learned very quickly that he sucked as a Naval Officer Told my Brother as his Division Officer in VA-46, before the Fire on the Forrestal, that if he extpected to go anywhere in the Navy that he needed to divorce his wife who had MS because she would only drag him down. AS my Skipper in VA-174 I repeatedly watched him berate sailors on the Ramp for little or no reason while other Officers and sailors watched just so he could make himself feel important. The Worse officer I have ever served under and I have served under a few scum buckets, but not many Thank you GOD! Most were EXCELLENT! As a Senator He is and always has been a RINO and the 3000 ile Umbilical Cord between him and Lindsey Graham One cannot do a thing without the other following close behind and because I live in SC and Graham is my Senior Senator it sickens me and I call his office at least once a month and tell him so.
