I actually like the idea of TA for credentialing. I attempted to look into the process for taking an ASE certification a year/two ago, and was told that the voucher for military was only available for E6 and above. I feel that if I am ready, I should be able to use TA to cover the test cost, and if I fail it, then I should have to pay the Army back.

There have been several other postings about it, because it is an emotional issue for so many. Our number one priority is operational readiness and reducing non-deployable Soldiers is in support of that priority.
