You can piss on Maybus' corn flakes if you want, But there are thousands of AO's that are waiting for the USS John Finn to finally hit the fleet. She is a fast Ship ready and willing to go in Harms Way. She was Christened on 2 May 2015 and Acquired on 7 December 2016. Her her crew knows the Story about Chief Finn forward and backwards. They know about the 21 distinct wounds he received that day, and how he had to be ordered to report to Sick bay, but after having been patched up he returned to help arm the surviving planes. Lt John Finn, at he time of his death in May, 2010 was 100 years old. he was the Oldest Medal of Honor recipient, the Oldest Pearl Harbor Survivor and the First Medal of Honor recipient of WWII. Those of us who met him and knew him and even those who never met him but shared the same Navy Rating, Aviation Ordnancemen, were mighty proud of John Finn. and we will be proud of the USS John Finn, DDG-113 and her superlative Crew.
