Secession is not the answer. Division is. California needs to be divided. It could easily be divided into seven states, each with sufficient population, resources, and economy to stand alone as independent states. Three, the ones containing San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Francisco would be liberal bastions. The other four, traditional American. (Just look at the voting results by county.) Of course, we would have to build walls around the three liberal states to prevent the on rush of illegal aliens from those three sanctuary cities from corrupting the other four.

CPT Jack Durish - Mmmmh…then they should be more for a wall on the border now. Arizona may be the closest to wanting it currently.

SSgt Chuck “Gunz” Gundlach USMC Ret., MBA - It seems to me from what I've read and the people I've spoken to, Arizona is in the front of the queue for building the wall. So is much of California except for the three major metropolitan areas (LA, San Diego, and SF) that have built huge Democratic majorities on the backs of Latin American migrants.

I have been saying for some time that in the unfortunate and undesirable event of a second civil war, the issue will not be secession, but expulsion. Better to let them "calexit".

it is not the federal funding they need to worry about losing, it is the water they siphon off other states. The US is broke and does not have a balanced budget, something has to give. CA wants it their way, fine I am all about states rights, they then pay for it.
