PFC (Join to see) - Collectability. Besides I have a ton of other weapons of various calibers to shoot. The Army never gets a damn thing good (I own the USMC 1911 that won't see daylight with a round). I collect some, get others with the intent of going to town at the range.

SFC Alexander Linnehan - I'm hating on you. $900 is a freakin steal (I paid $1100). I saw the same, and when I picked mine up, the shop told me they've seen em go for $2000. Yours should definitely be worthy of a $2k price with that low a serial number. I'm waiting to get the display case with the coin inside. Registered it with Sig, so now it's on them. It's about damn time the Army got something and the SEALS weren't first.
I'm trying to cut back on the number of weapons I buy, but I'm still thinking about getting the P320 in FDE .45 full size for the hell of it. I have a thing for .45's.

SFC Alexander Linnehan well hell, of you ever went into debt, you got your ‘get outta debt free’ card at $15k. I was looking at the Colt Pythons with the 6-8in barrel. Prices I’ve seen start at $3k and run up. Just not sure what the big deal with them is, and why prices are so high being the weapons been made since the 70’s.

SFC Alexander Linnehan - In your opinion what would be the best version or year to get a Python? I'm on Gunbroker now looking, and the prices are all over the place. I'm partial to the black/blue models. I hate chrome or nickel plated weapons. This IF ever bought would be another safe queen. Gotten for future prospects.
