Snowflakes and deplorables, unite. Is it time to consider a national service requirement?

Without Question and Without Exception EVERYONE should serve some form of public service. Rich, Poor, male, female, EVERYONE.
Everyone needs to learn that there is something more important in this world than they are. Some type of public service, minimum of FOUR years with a year of college at an in-state school for every year completed honorably, and a prohibition of college for NOT completing it. Yes, I said it...If you don't do your service you don't go to college.
Military service to being teacher's aids to working in a nursing home. EVERYONE should serve somehow.

Every generation finds the next generation to be selfish, entitled, unappreciative and unpatriotic. Baby Boomers were hippie freeloaders. Generation X were spoiled degenerates. Millennials are wussy snowflakes. Gen Z would die without cell phones. Boomers didn't respect their elders. And then Gen X had the audacity to do the same thing. This is a tired conversation. Old people always think young people are entitled, sensitive, and naive. If you feel this way, you're probably just getting old. Every generation has patriots. Every generation has degenerates. There are 19 year old kids right now who are tougher than you, put up with worse than you, and could handle more than you. And there are 25 year old "men" who can't handle the slightest discomfort. The story never changes.
