Jeffrey Guarino will never forget the first time he ever pitched in a Little League baseball game.
It was the day his dad was shot down over North Vietnam, the start of his seven-year captivity at the infamous “Hanoi Hilton.”
Saturday at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, Jeffrey is scheduled to address more than 50,000 fans in pregame POW/MIA ceremonies as a guest of the Cardinals and just might get to throw a first pitch.
