Sources: Vols out of bowl game due to COVID-19

When the Independence Bowl cancelled because of no opponent to face Army, the Black Knights were left with no place for post season play.
Now, the University of Tennessee has bowed out of the Liberty Bowl, and this may a possibility for Army. They’d play the West Virginia Mountaineers at the Liberty Bowl in Memphis, TN on December 31, 2020. Fingers crossed!
