As a United States Air Force Veteran, I would be greatly disappointed if the Biden Administration were to terminate the Space Force... The reason being that China already has a presence on the Moon and then there is Mars... China has made no bones about being the leading Country in the World... and when we get more involved in space, we are going to need to protect what is ours... It is no different than protecting the "new world back in the 1600 - 1800's... Missile warfare brings a whole host of new military issues, that the USAF cannot field... We need a military entity, which will focus exclusively on missiles and space...IMHO...
