SpaceX INSANE NEW Raptor Engines Are Unlike Anything Seen Before!
This science video delineates the details behind the success of SpaceX's Rocket Engine called "Raptor", which uses a liquid-liquid Methane/Oxygen fuel mix which provides some 11-MILLION HORSEPOWER!!!

"SpaceX is stepping forward with their newest rocket engine, Raptor. In this video we will be taking look at this newest innovative engine that will power the future SpaceX rockets including the Starship.
Elon Musk wants to take humankind to mars so he needs some strong and reliable rockets. So, his space company started to work on that and they also had a name for that spacecraft, the Starship. To support this big rocket a new rocket engine was needed as the standard ones couldn’t cope with it well. It needed a “Something extra” from the engine to boost it to space and SpaceX began to work to provide that to a rocket engine. Raptor, first presented in 2009, started out as a low-priority project. By 2012, SpaceX had shifted direction in its planned propulsion architecture and Raptor’s role was broadened to become the company’s engine of choice for a large rocket. After several prototypes they finally came up with a model that was exactly what they were looking for, it was the Raptor! The engine has been in development for the better part of a decade.
So, Raptor is designed to power the new reusable vehicles SpaceX is building, the Starship spacecraft and the Super Heavy rocket. Combined, these vast machines are designed to take up to 100 people into space, possibly to the Moon and Mars, with a tentative launch of humans around the Moon by the mid-2020s, and establish a full-blown city as early as 2050.

I hope he is able to continue with his advances.
I wonder how long it will be before they develop an engine that does not use rocketry? I understand that at this time the physics and knowledge is not near the point of building anything of this nature. But since it has only been a little over a 100 years since the steam engine was invented and look how far we have come since then. This raises the question of what lies ahead?
But then with they way things are, it might not be much. The future at this point is more uncertain then it has ever been.

It is not that uncertain, as there is a step that must be taken and this step requires a new approach, which deals with Warp drive, which deals with a spacetime Warp, and that in turn allows, a craft to remain stationary within the spacetime warp area, front & rear... allowing the spacetime warp to move at or faster than the speed of light... as spacetime has no speed limit... There is more to it, so suggest searching the internet for Warp drive, or warp speed, which will take you into a part of Physics that we still know very little about...

I am sort of a history fan. History tends to repeat itself. The advances the world has made in the past 100 years could be gone in the winking of an eye. If you look at history you will find countries that have rose up with technical advancements(Rome is an example) and those advancements were lost for a long time because the country fell. It does not take a lot for a country to fail or the world for that matter. The world today is tied economically together tighter then it has ever been. If even one of the stronger economic nations fail it could cause a collapse in the world economics. This would cause science to be put on the back burner and might even cause the scientific knowledge gained to be removed just as Hitler tried to do with book burnings. People say this can't happen but it has happened before. History and the unrest of the people of the world is why I said the future is very uncertain.

I'd like to try some of that fuel in my S.O.'s Audi convertible. It's too bad that Raptor engine won't fit under the hood. Very good video Sgt (Join to see) ! Thanks for the share.
