Very interesting read... luck played a huge role in this IS operation - forcing them to act in an uncoordinated way after their bomb maker blew the safehouse up.

Well the blowing themselves up part couldn't have happened to a better group, unfortunately they weren't more thorough in that part. I does sound as if the casualties would likely have been much greater if they had not fouled up and blown themselves up forcing the others to act early without the explosives. Thank God for small favors!

My fear is the next time that they do lessons learned... and understand you have to have an alternate plan.... this time - fate played her hand nicely in screwing up their plan.
