I have posted a number of talks by the late Carl Edward Sagan, who was an American astronomer, planetary scientist, cosmologist, astrophysicist, astrobiologist, author, and science communicator. I selected another one of his talks titled "Speed of Light - Speed of Light Constant". It is an interesting talk one that will certainly help explain this phenomenon...

That is certainly okay beautiful Lady... I know that Emily needs her feline rest time so she will be more alert when she wakes up and wants to cuddle in your lap...

I've actually seen this presentation before, don't recall where or when but agree it is great. I've gone the speed of sound but can't comprehend the speed of light however it's probably coming.

Scientists are working on it... by manipulating (warping) spacetime fore and aft of a spacecraft... They have detected natural gravity waves and they move at the speed of light as I recall, but would have to recheck...
