Cpl Vic Burk - That scene has been recorded some 163 times according to the sign displayed... I have only seen a half dozen or so, but I am always surprised to see what happens... One would think that the town fathers would make some kind of change to the road to eliminate the problem... but alas it is not to be! LOL!

They can't lower the road due to sewer, water and gas pipes! The bridge was built in the 40's so they can't make the railroad fix it either. That beside the fact the track actually belongs to the North Carolina Department of Transportation and is leased to the railroad.

Cpl Vic Burk then trucks over that height dimensioned should have a mandatory reroute to follow.. The town fathers did not provide sufficient corrective measures in my view...

Sgt (Join to see) - They had a sensor that flashed the "Overheight" sign but the sensor has been malfunctions for the last three hits to the bridge.
