after 0200-relief? Those are those moments when 1SG pops in, the CSM pops in, and God help you if you or the runner are asleep and didn't catch one of them first.

In Korea, it was ~5:30-6:00 where a 1SG or field grade Officer would cruise. Man, I hated CQ and SD on the weekends. But no one ever gave me crap about having my laptop out.

They should do Staff Duty until they are tired of it and learn how to dispense of their duties properly. They are selfish and blue falcons for letting someone flap in the wind. Perhaps if they are not commiserate with their rank, a little reduction is in order. Also I would want a long essay on the correct execution of being Staff Duty.
