Was it his first performance? He was in Apocalypse Now as a helicopter pilot in the Air Cav helicopter assault scene. The question is were his scenes in Apocalypse Now filmed prior to Boys in Company C? Apocalypse Now was released a year after Boys in Company C, but production of Apocalypse was met with delay after delay after delay.
