I would hesitate to call either of these giant Wolf-Rayet stars a "journalist star". If those stars explode, the result will be very real and measurable and significant. And the gamma ray burst from the explosion will destroy whatever life is in its path.
Almost nothing that CNN or MSNBC reports is real or important. A super-nova is one of the most visible events in the universe. But so few people are watching CNN or MSNBC, whatever they report is almost invisible to the naked eye.

We can only hope.

If we are lucky our planet will not be in the path the the explosion's GRB.
