THE absolute greatest guitar slinger in history....and NO ONE can tell me differently.
I first saw Stevie, in a little bar in downtown Austin in the early 80's, and man that cat could play....even then, everyone in that place knew that he was going to be great.
I cry a little every August on the anniversary of his death!!

CWO3 (Join to see) - Yeah, seen SRV many many times, along with a lot of the great blues guitarist - Clapton, BB King, Buddy Guy.
Would have loved to see Robert Johnson. Missed Joe Bonamossa (sp??) thanks to a car accident (another story!!).
Also seen a bunch of younger guys that are on the way to greatness: Derek Trucks, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, Jonny Lang.....
And a guy that really doesn't have much of a following outside of Austin, TX by the name of Ian Moore!!!! LOVE his music!!!

LTC Tom McNew - seen those, didn't reference - except for BB - did catch Ray Charles in his last few months - and of course no to R Johnson - my Father's time , not mine. It's hard not to like Joe Bonamassa.
