Thanks for reminding us TSgt Joe C. that during the Great Depression in 1933, American automaker Studebaker which was heavily in debt went into receivership.
It sad that like many distraught individuals who felt responsible Studebaker President Albert Erskine, resigned and later that year committed suicide.

Since Studebaker went out of business we have lost Plymouth Oldsmobile Pontiac Hummer Saturn AMC AKA American Motors Corporation. It's sad that very few cars have personality today they all look the same with a few exceptions Ford Mustang Dodge Challenger Chevy Camaro but yet it seems like so many people go to Newport Beach to learn Auto design and yet a Jaguar looks like a Ford Taurus or even a Bentley there has to be an improvement on these body styles or more car companies are going to go bankrupt
