Be careful for area code +211.
These articles don't mention it but I've read it and other articles that they could be charging you 20 or $30 simply for calling them for a few seconds. Don't be that guy or gal!

HUH? I didn't see +211 mentioned anywhere in this article. Just went back and re reread it, and still don't see it.

PO1 Kevin Dougherty this is nothing to do with the article but with fraud alerts from the past that I have read. I had some Facebook person from South Sudan try to ask me to call them.

I don't call people I don't know. I then looked up South Sudan about 2 years ago when the story about South Sudan phone scams came up. Since Sudan was the topic of your story, I wanted to inform others of the South Sudan phone scams.

The people of South Sudan are suffering horribly due to their Civil War. Somehow, within that Civil War are people trying to make money from unsuspecting victims internationally.
