Sweeping veterans policy bill passed overwhelmingly in the House

Read the bill. It sets a sunset date on the choice program of one year from the enactment date of the bill and bars the VA from using the Choice Program authority after that date to provide services through civilians doctors for veterans. It transfers any monies left in the Choice Program after that one year date to other VA programs. This bill is just more status quo bullshit throwing good money after bad while allowing horrible VA directors and employees not only to remain safely in their jobs without fear of being fired but also collecting outrageous bonuses.
