Sticking with your tactics can force the enemy's strategy to change, as well as your's.

Greetings Sir.
I enjoyed the read and thank you for posting the issue of war.
The definition presented in your post appears sound. But, it comes from a nationalist who did not want to usher in a global shift in politics. Regional perhaps. Not global.
What if war is being used for more than one issue? Defeating the enemy doesn't quite apply. Weakening those opposed to an agenda perhaps?
Does America's endless war/wars make us a victim and bend to an objective too? Is the act of global war and the effects of same bringing in a New Age?
I remember my Sunday school lesson Sir. Before Noahs flood the world was full of murder and hate.
I am worried. Global war is the tool being used to change everything that is right and good. Social, economic, physical, mental and most all, the family.
Have a good day Lt.Col.

There are many philosophers on war - and Dead Karl is but one, and he was looking a lot like The Prince at the ruler and the state. True - endless war pits us more into the realm of the Byzantium strategists and thinkers - and they were a different breed of thinkers and warriors than Dead Karl. After all it was Leo the Wise who we know for his writings called Tactica. Contrary to the US media - there have been periods of history exactly like the same as we in the US are finding now - and they did face a host of powerful enemies from different continents - as well as the ride of the 4 horseman. And yet they survived till 1492.

LTC Eric Udouj - Thank you for the response Sir.
I was not aware the four horsemen could ride until the rebirth of Israel. But, I am confident it would have felt like it to those who lived back then.
Have a good evening Sir.
