Just a sad reminder of the "anything goes" mentality in our society now. This is at a political campaign HQ of a person running for the Presidency of our great nation. If that staff doesn't care, then I suggest it directly reflects the mentality of the leadership (i.e. the person running for President in this case). There are plenty of people out there that respect the flag and understand it was woven with the blood of those who fought and died for the Constitution. The problem stems from the education system in our country that has bought into the notion that the US has been a bully on the world stage and we need t apologize for it. As a society we seem to forget the vast number of Americans who died during the great wars trying to save the world. We have forgotten about the Americans that paid with their lives during the grueling Bataan Death March, or those burned alive by Nazi Germany. We are so afraid to use torture techniques to extract information, but we forget that our servicemen and women have been tortured and mistreated through every engagement we have been in. We have taken the boy out of Boy Scouts and destroyed our moral compass by distorting the facts. So it's not surprising to see Old Glory sitting on the floor of Mrs. Clinton's staff HQ. Remember, she told the Benghazi victim's families that it was a video that caused their deaths as they arrived at Dover in their flag draped coffins. No one in this country should vote for a candidate that disrespects the flag that still means so much to veterans and families of veterans and a smattering of people that appreciate what the flag still stands for.

I would be surprised if any Hillary Clinton supporter understood what was wrong with this picture or why anyone cared.

That 's like saying it would be a surprise if any Trump supporters understand why it's wrong to knock a protester to the groung and kick him and beat him or why they should care about it. But then again since Trump said maybe he should have been roughed up, maybe it wouldnt be a surprise.

I reread my comment and did not see where I placed blame of any type? Where is my stating surprise biased or a fallacy?
You seem to have taken offense but to what? Yes, I do have a low opinion of Clinton supporter, but that is because I have a low opinion of anyone who would support a person who openly lied to us, the American people, and to the families of the fallen in particular...and no, it is not a criminal act to lie, and all politicians do it...but she was caught doing it. Additionally, were lack of concern with information is, or at least appears, to cross into the realm of criminal activity. So why would anyone be surprised at the lack of understanding of people who continue do support such a person?

Okay Sir? Not sure how this changed from Hillary Clinton's supporters to Donald Trumps' but okay? I do not know the detail you are presenting, but how is the actions of a group of Trump's supporters reflect anything upon Mr. Trump or even the majority of his supporters? Are you trying to say Trump ordered the beating? If we are going down that road we will have to go down a dark road of conspiracy and talk about covering up rapes, Vince Foster, Ron Brown but I think this would be foolish?

MSG Brad Sand - so i have a low opinion of trump supporters, clearly anyone who wants to vote for a fascist has issues understanding what democracy and freedom are, but that doesn't mean I'm going to blame all trump supporters for the stupidity of a few of them.

That is sad that a crumpled USA flag was laying on the ground at apolitical rally A1C (Join to see). I expect this is a genuine photograph and not a photoshopped image.
While I would not necessarily blame the candidate speaking I would hope that staff and even her secret service or security detail would notice this in their sweep of the area.

I note that the source of this article is from an incredibly biased source.
That being said- I do NOT believe that this infraction against flag care standards should be used to impugn the candidate. They are there to speak, kiss babies, and leave. They have little to no involvement with the care of the venue. This being said I believe that the only reason that it is being brought to light is to point out that one of her STAFF or one of the REVELERS a used the flag- this reflecting that the candidate lacks patriotism. That is a logical fallacy. People will sometimes fall for that crap when they read such biased materials, so that is why they feel they have permission to lie in this manner (logical fallacies are back door ways of lying and manipulating)
THAT being said- why try to use a back door to attack Hillary Clinton? She attacks herself every time she speaks. Just pay attention.

A1C Melissa Jackson - an irony is that the Washington Post tends to be biased towards establishment democrats including Hillary Rodham Clinton.
