This is yet another example of the overly sensitive times we are living in. I truly feel as a culture we need to embrace our past and openly talk about the mistakes that were made throughout our history. The time and effort being put into pacifying an overly sensitive society will not fix the current struggles we are experiencing.

It fixes absolutely nothing. All it does is create more segregation. I thought this was 2015, not 1955

I agree, it exaggerates the current struggles we are seeing coast to coast.

I think CPT (Join to see) said it very well above, this type of action only serves to provide immediate self-gratification to a select few.

This is a knee jerk reaction to a few people who want to push the right buttons. We need not to for get our history no matter how bad or good it is.

Immediate gratification or pacification for a select few that only exaggerates how divided our country is on certain issues.

It won't fix anything. You cannot regulate thought. The free-speech of it can be suppressed, but only through intimidation/coercion. People will still think and feel the way they do, but silently. Personally, I believe it makes it worse when someone's choice is taken away. People have a right to think and feel in any manner, it's what we do that defines our moral obligation to society.
