So why did we go into Afganistan originally? What will ensure that they won't start aiding and comforting the terrorists again, as they did when we attacked them before? As long as the administration stops all funding for Afganistan and we have deployable assent available to take out any hostile training camps or troops, not our concern. Also, get our people out of there before the Tali's regain power and wipe them out. We saw what happens when we make an early departure, ISIS/ISIL.

CPT Pedro Meza - The Council on Foreign Relations didn't get the word, in the opening paragraph Bin Laden wasn't mentioned.

LTC (Join to see) - I have responded with something from the CFR that goes into the reasons for our retaliation on the Tali's and elements of AQ. It does not mention Bin Laden as a reason in the opening paragraph. My questions were leading to point out this agreement could take us back to square one.

Non_military types worry more about global warming not zombie like spreading of Islamic radicals of all colors sponsored or influenced by Iran or Saudi Arabia.

I agree. We will never fully feel what their culture feels. We can try to understand it, take some culture classes, learn a few phrases, but will never fully understand the culture. Just let them work it out on their own instead of pushing our own American ideals on them.
