Target will no longer open its stores on Thanksgiving Day

Is there anything important enough to buy at Target that we should be forcing people to work on Thanksgiving day? We can wait until Friday.
Heck when I was a kid most stored were closed on Sunday. But then retailers figured out they could make more money being open Sundays and many of their employees would have no choice but to come in. So now we have retail people (a crummy job to start with) coming in to work on holidays on the off chance we want to go out and buy something.

I think retail stores don't need to be open - but there are some people who do want holiday pay. Or who don't have family or friends or don't celebrate certain holidays.
Now they make more money in online sales anyway. Hell - I haven't used my Target Redcard (the debit card not a credit card) in so long they sent me a letter and an email asking if I had it lost or stolen and do I need a new one lol.
