Thank you Rally Point for supporting me(100 upvotes and 20K+ views in 2 months) in my frustration on how the teachers union President, after discussion of arming teachers is acting like Haight-Ashbury hippie types who don't want to defend their classroom but they want to talk about global warming and socialism in their class. I am sure some teachers are happy when nieve California Governor Jerry Brown passed the law in 2018 Banning teachers or anybody including a janitor for having a concealed weapon on campus just what makes it open season, in California, for lunatics to attack of school. I am so happy this guy used his football expertise and tackle the guy.

Frankly, I'm amazed that the article wasn't a slam against the teacher. It is CNN after all.

A brave man who took appropriate action when the chance arose. This however should not assume every teacher could or would be capable of doing the same. Even in military units people are aware of what their buddy can and cannot do and assignments are given out based on capabilities.
