Team RWB Shooting Range Fundraiser

Join Team RWB Boston for a fun and educational day on the shooting range. Mass Firearms School has generously donated a good portion of the fee towards our fundraising efforts. The cost for the evening is $70(normal retail cost) with $31 going towards RWB.

This event is geared towards teaching beginners the basics while having the flexibility for the more experienced shooters. In the final hour we will have a fun competition for both levels of shooter, if you would like to participate.

We are capped at 30 people. To reserve your spot, contact Ed or post on this event and I will get back to you. Your spot will be reserved when you have paid the fee. We need to give them a final count by Aug 23rd.

SUMMARY OF THE EVENING

Your group event will run for about 2 to 2.5 hours in length, and will be split into 2 Halves. I will go ahead and outline both halves separately below:

1. The First Half of your event will be a structured Introduction to Shooting class. The group would be assigned 4-5 instructors depending on your final group size, and an identical number of lanes of on our firing range. After an initial range safety session of about 15 - 20 minutes, the group will move to our range for approximately 1 hour of live fire instruction.

During your live fire instruction, each group member will shoot four (4) different firearms as a part of their training. Our instructors will be there to ensure range safety protocol is followed, and that each student who steps up to the line not only operates their firearms safely, but walks away a better shot. 2. The Second Half of your event will consist of free shooting time on our firing range. The group will still have use of the entirety of our smaller firing range, a total of five lanes. The members of your group will be able to select the firearms of their choice from our armory to shoot on the range. Rather than our instructors being present, however, the Mass License To Carry(LTC) holders of your group will instead each man a lane and allow the unlicensed members of your group to shoot with their supervision. Please note: your group’s number of useable lanes during the second hour of the event will be limited to the number of Mass LTC holders in your group.

The firearm rentals will be unlimited and free of charge for your group. The ammunition used during this part of your event will be an additional cost, however, of roughly $10 - $20 per person. We’re happy to say that we can accommodate groups of greatly varying sizes. A group size of 20 to 30 people would be ideal for the event your organization had in mind, with 30 guests total being the upper limit of our capability.
