"Sudden loss of traditional intelligence sources in times of crisis is a genuine concern, though such a contingency is probably never exercised. Were the drug ever denied, the cold turkey would be painful." Very interesting read and some interesting thoughts.

No substitute for solid and actionable HUMINT....short of access to actual enemy OPLANS, and reliance on other sources has caused gaps and complacency. Nice share.
