LTC (Join to see) - the loudest (hollyweird) bunch all threatened to leave, I am kinda wishing they would. Push their BS agenda somewhere else. Maybe Syria or Iran would welcome them...

LTC (Join to see) - They always threaten crap like that but when it comes down to it I think they realize that there is nowhere else in the world that would allow them to do what they do and get away with it and they decide it is easier to continue talking trash than it is to actually man up and follow through with their "promises" to leave.

LTC (Join to see) - For sure, they have sure let us down by not leaving, seems their word isn't worth much but then what other country would even want them there ? I'm sure most other countries would find them to be undesirable.

I have no desire to carry a gun out in the world BUT I do 100% support the 2nd Amendment.

LTC (Join to see) There are many studies to support this article and we do not need to look far to see that where guns are banned crime rates specifically murder rates go up. In England and Wales where guns are banned the homicide rates increased by nearly 50 percent. Records show the the deterrent that is effective to decreasing crime are good Police policies. In studies of England and Wales following the banning of weapons, the homicide and firearm homicide rates only began falling when there was a large increase in the number of police officers.

Chicago has enacted what some call the toughest gun laws (restrictions) in the United States which has resulted in the following: "Data compiled the Stanley Manne Children's Research Institute revealed that homicide rates in Chicago increased to 18.81 per 100,000 in 2015 vs. 17.64 in 2010, a 7% increase. That's compared to a 6% decline for the United States overall for the same period and over 4x the national average. In fact, at 18.81 homicides per 100,000, Chicago would be ranked as the 201st most dangerous country out of the 218 countries tracked by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime."

I remember when the Chief of Police in Lexington Kentucky, Larry Walsh (liberal patsy of the mayor) stood on the steps of City Hall and declared, "The streets will run with blood now that Kentucky's Concealed Carry has passed." The next year violent crime was down almost 10%. Somehow, not knowing if the person you were about to rob would shoot you seemed to curb the desire to commit crimes.

England and Australia's gun bans are not complete yet. Still ongoing. I visit England every year (English wife) and the ban is not a ban, its a buy-back. Which it would be. You pay law abiding citizens to turn in their weapons. You may still own guns and shoot them. They just opened a gun range next to my in-law's retirement home. The dropping of crime in England is due to vast camera-i-zation of the country. Theres cameras everywhere. Also, you don't walk up to cars in England. When a cop pulls you over, **YOU** get out of **YOUR** car and walk over to the cop. Easy for the cop to then see you're armed and run you over, etc.

MSG Andrew White - The saying I refer to that illustrates that idea is, "It isn't the tiger you see that kills you ... it's the tiger you don't see". Let criminals wonder who is the tiger.
