All I know is I've been enjoying the mocking obits Trudeau's idiotic remarks have spawned at #TrudeauEulogies.
My two favorites are in a tie for the grand prize ...
~ "Mr. Stalin's greatest achievement was his eradication of obesity in the Ukraine through innovative agricultural reforms
~ "Today we mourn the painter and animal rights activists, Adolph Hitler. His death highlights the need for suicide awareness."
Notable mentions are ...
~ "Henry VIII: An idealist and a dreamer, no disappointment could deter him from his determined quest for love."
~ "As we mourn Emperor Caligula, let us always remember his steadfast devotion to Senate reform. "
~ "While controversial, Darth Vader achieved great heights in space construction and played a formative role in his son's life"
~ Osama Bin Laden was a charismatic leader who helped revolutionize airport security in his lifetime.
~ "Jack the Ripper worked tirelessly to help some London women escape their miserable lives of prostitution"
Thank you Twitterverse and yes, Mr Trudeau ... you are an ass hat.

The article referenced points up a lot of truth and also serves up his opinion, which is worth every penny I paid to see it. Thanks.
Funny how some conservatives say the liberals love dictators, when they voted in Mussolini Redux just a couple weeks ago.
Yes, some of us are fully aware of America's seamy side. But I don't see anyone truly calling the spade. Our School of the Americas is where dictators and death squads are trained. Our drones are, in fact, the current global terrorist threat. Our government has been, for decades, the biggest "state sponsor of world terrorism." None of this is news.
Speaking about the author's "WhatAboutIsms," we find our own unique niche in the world. When when the last time one country invaded and destroyed another country without any justification? Hmmm. That would be us. What country's military created millions of displaced persons in another country? That would be us, too. I remember President John F. Kennedy saying "The United States, as the world knows, will never start a war." I guess that ended with Bush's Preemptive War Doctrine. And the old saw that America will never fire a nuclear first strike? Anyone care to defend that statement?
The USA does a lot of good, and everybody wants to come here. But let's not fool ourselves into thinking that we are still Camelot.

Without one day in office, with absolutely no legal power as of yet, you equate the President-Elect with Mussolini? Hyperbolize much?

Capt Michael Greene
MSG (Join to see) - I think we can all agree that Trump is both an authoritarian and a demagogue. And from his words, he expects to "run" the United States and expects the Congress to do what he says. He has more in common with a dictator than a president.

Capt Michael Greene -
Authoritarian - He's not in office. How can you agree on that when he has no authority? So no, "we" all can't agree on that.
Demagogue ... meh ... they (politicians) all are.
