A U.S. Border Patrol supervisor accused of killing four prostitutes was arrested Saturday after a fifth sex worker escaped his clutches and contacted police, authorities said.

Juan David Ortiz, 35, confessed to murdering four women and kidnapping a fifth in a two-week orgy of violence near Laredo, Tex.

"The county, the city can rest assured we have the serial killer in custody," said Webb County Sheriff Martin Cuellar, according to the Laredo Morning Times.
