Just curious. Is that particular pose that sailor is making in the picture a standard one at Navy boot camp? Do they make everyone strike that pose for their official boot camp photos? Is that considered the optimal military pose for photos in uniform in the Navy? Just wondering. ;)

LTC (Join to see) That is Not Boot Camp and Not a Boot Camp Photo that is a CT3 (E-4) that has Just Completed School or Very Soon Too, Not the Official Stance or Pose for the "Official" Photo of Navy CTs Currently (I've Posted Plenty Here) but It is a Very Common Photo/Pose (More Unofficial but More of a Cultural Thing) for Graduates of Corry Jr High (NTTC Corry Station).

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - thanks for the info. I have a photo of me in a similar pose with my chin on my fists, but in my defense I was 3 years old at the time and had no artistic input into the posing. But apparently my mom loved it, so it must be a mom thing.

LTC (Join to see) I Suspect that it is the Picture of a CTM3 being the Longest School to Fleet Program in Our Community and they Usually Graduate as E-4s.

On a serious note, kind of BS that so many are quick to make fun of this guy and his mom. It's the world we are living in now. I hate the fact that so many were quick to convict Kavanuagh of his alleged crime with no evidence and then bad mouth this guy for pointing out how bad it's getting to be a dating male these days.

I don't drink the Kool-Aid from the fear mongering crowd. False accusations are quite limited and not the norm. I do not know of anyone in my life who was falsely accused but the fear mongering crowd would have you believe this is some sort of widespread issue.
