My favorite is Mount Gay Rum from Barbados. We used to call for a “ Map and coke” because the label had a map of Barbados.

Here’s one that didn’t make the list, is relatively unknown, yet is considered one of Puerto Rico’s finest. I don’t really drink rum so I can’t vouch for it, but it’s supposed to be some of the best. Found out about it on an Army trip to PR in 1971. Since 1880, Ron del Barrilito

I've had it and it's very good. When I was stationed here in the 80s the St Petersburg Coast Guard station had a Class VI store with the largest rum selection I've ever seen. They even had sipping rums that rivaled congnac. That facility was torn down and the new one isn't comparable.
