I guess it’s been another 10 years—time for idle discussion to re-engine the B-52. (The KC-135 has the same idle chatter on a 10-year cycle, but they are out of synch by five years, so that they can alternate.) Please, don’t have a plan to discuss a SIXTY-FIVE-YEAR-OLD PLANE or anything. We demolish BUILDINGS that are 65 years old!

I wouldn't think it's the engines that are the problem, but rather the aging, stressed air frames. I would think.
