PO1 William "Chip" Nagel When the kid brother was a 11H, Direct Fire Infantry Crewman, with a Jeep mounted, 106 mm Recoilless Rifle, the driver would be always be a ‘city boy’, farm guys were too cautious in their driving.
He claimed that after his crew did a dismounted recon of a target-tank; they could position the jeep, fire a spotting round with the 50 cal that was bore sighted with the main gun, fire the 106 and hit a barrell 1000 yards away, (old Army), and drive off w/in 60 seconds!

SPC Margaret Higgins I Joined While Living in Leawood, KS but for the Most Part I was Raised in Cincinnati, OH. College Hill Neighborhood so Most would Consider Me More Urban.

Lost cause. When I worked in a recruiting office as gopher, the inner city kids hated the military. Often coming very close to violence. We got our best results in suburbs. Just enough mix of urban and rural.
