I hope that one can be developed, the cost of it will probably be astronomical, but it may save a lot of our guys in the long run shipmate PO2 (Join to see)

You don’t get something for nothing. It will be much heavier. Also, the further away you shoot the more time the tank crew has to react — assuming they see the smoke from the launch. There are pros and cons and for a vehicle mounted system the additional weight may be acceptable but for a shoulder fired system that has to be lugged by troops, the additional weight of propellant will make it unacceptable.

Unless we can develop a better propellant or a different attack technique. I’ve always wondered about a smaller charge that took a pop up flight profile, gaining altitude and coming down on the target instead of a head on shot. Then again, I’m just an old fart cannon cocker off the water. *grin*.
