Regional conflict as well as a proxy war in the Cold War - not too often do you come across a good blog or article that looks at the Somali-Ethiopia war... The impacts are still felt - and the unrest it caused remains. But this was Somalia before it became what it is now and this was also the heyday of the Cuban adventurism in the wars in Africa.

Great share on military history LTC Eric Udouj ... conflicts on the African continent in the future are likely to increase in my opinion. With China enacting their Belt and Road initiative throughout Africa, there will be more nations that fall under China's power I predict. The likelihood of a touchpoint between world powers may be inevitable.
