The Japanese Navy had no chance against ours. By the end of the war the US had 27 aircraft carriers and constructed 1200 ships. I believe we used 1200 bombers one day in Europe to bomb Germany. Our efforts were mind boggling and staggering.

I collect old military manuals and I have a 1918, 6th edition, a 1940 and 1950 Blue Jacket Manual. I also have a Handy Book, Engineer Department, 1915 US Navy Manual on the steam engine of a Navy Ship of that time.
