It's an excellent recommendation for inclusion in every American's library, right after a collection of American historical documents and the Federalist Papers. Sadly, I was a bit put off by the reviewer's comment "the year Donald Trump made nativism a viable political project". This seems to be a popular litany among propagandists these days. Although there is nothing wrong in protecting citizens (it is, after all, the first purpose of government as enumerated in the Constitution) and there is noting wrong prima facie with emphasizing traditional values, "nativism" is used as a pejorative to make us feel ashamed or guilty for defending ourselves from those who want to "fundamentally change" America for what many of believe is to be the worst.

I would add being an informed and constitutionally principled American Citizen is akin to being the ball.
