The burdens we carry

CPT Stephanie Lincoln -Thanks for your very informative post, as a member of a somewhat (ahem) older generation much of what was written rings true and I am sure my late Dad could also relate ,he of a generation who as child worked in the coal mines of Pennsylvania with bits of coal imbedded in his palms until he died, every time I thought I had it rough that image came to mind,didn't help so much when I was lugging that rucksack up and down those stinking hills in the Central Highlands back in 1967 though!
