Of all the potential calamities facing America, the worst by far is the fact that the Fourth Estate has become a Fifth Column for the Progressive Movement. Americans no longer recognize fake news when they see it because they no longer have reliable examples of real news. The best we can hope for are spontaneous reports littering the Internet, posted by citizen "journalists" armed with smart phones and luck. Real journalism, professional journalism is dead...
