After working my IT job this morning, I commenced looking for good material that I believe will have interest among many at RP... I did find a superb Science/Space Video, which I believe meets that goal... As NASA prepares for a future man landing on Planet Mars, we must overcome the mind boggling methodology of landing a manned spacecraft on Mars...

Mars' Atmosphere is 100 times thinner than Earth's atmosphere, so slowing down a spacecraft using the atmosphere the way we do on Earth is not possible... It is a significant challenge, but one that is solvable, but not very simple to do...

This is an awesome video made by the same company that created TVs "How the Universe Works". The quality of this video is awesome so I recommend that this video be watched in full screen on the largest screen you have available...
