The Circus Continues!

This past week was a new low for me. I remember watching Watergate hearings while I was a young Airman First Class. I’ve witnessed the scandals, moral lapses of every level of government, and an ever-increasing escalation of “government by the incompetent immoral, pandering and partisan” idiocy there days. I have never been accused of being a “Trump-as-a-person” supporter, but in spite of his immaturity he is doing.a pretty good job. As long as I don’t listen to his “this is the best whatever” in the history of our country, I can appreciate that he has generally been.a source of good results. The Democrat Party is obsessed with one thing: get rid of the President.

Watching the House Judiciary Committee of late reminds me of the old House Committee on Unamerican Activities back in the 50’s, but the current level of discourse is such an exercise in lying and immaturity, to paraphrase President Trump, is the biggest the world has ever seen. Impeachment is such a misguided low-brow activity. Do they realize how ridiculous they truly look? I don’t believe that most folks outside the DC Beltway are paying attention to the day to day silliness. I do because I a lifelong student of human behavior and I am retired and nursing a knee that will be receiving a new joint in November and my mobility is hampered. I am also a news-junkie. While this is a new low for integrity, I watch looking for any source of inspiration, transparency or bipartisanship, and am doing a whole lot of praying for our nation.
