I am Hispanic, and used to get that same mentality in grade school and high school. It's just an excuse by a bunch of potentially criminally minded people, who think that if they can get the masses to think like them, they'll have more support to be an unchallenged criminal. I have plenty of Hispanic friends and family who voted for Trump, because they wanted this kind of thinking challenged. They noticed that during Democratic administrations, this illegal immigration tends to go unchallenged. Deportation seems to be the answer to fix it, which costs money, but it's (in their opinion ) humane. At this point, the fortification of our borders seems to be an issue we have to address.

What a stupid question to ask a Border Patrol Agent? It had to be a Democrat or a mindless media maniac who asked that question!

SPC John Parmenter - Since speaking Spanish is a huge asset for Border Patrol agents, it stands to reason that many agents would come from households where Spanish is spoken.

Northeastern liberals tend to equate the word "Hispanic" with the term "illegal alien." Perhaps they'd be shocked if they came to the Southwest to find a large Hispanic population -- some of whose ancestors settled in Arizona, New Mexico, Southern Colorado, & Texas long before either the United States or Mexico existed as nations. One of the angriest people I ever saw was a young Hispanic man I'd arrested. A foolish jailer asked me "Is he wet?" (meaning an illegal alien). Fortunately for all of us, the young man was still in handcuffs.
