The Day Before - D-Day Preparation - 82nd and 101st Airborne Division Paratroops 1945

A lot of people don't consider the emotional build-up prior to going. Some people will get pumped other more scared, I think most to the point of let's just do already. We spent six weeks almost two months before they final sent us to Iraq... by that tie everyone was like let's just do it already... then the reality hits you like a brick wall, oh crap they did!

Great post for sure. You have to believe the emotions of those guys were a roller coaster of the unknown facing them, panic, anxiety, and worry, mixed with lets get there and kiss ass already. The waiting had to have been extremely trying on their physical and mental health.
