A little obscure for me. The Prussians\were excellent good at Close order war but fell apart in World War I

SSG Edward Tilton The Dead Prussian's namesake is Carl Von Clausewitz, the author of On War. This book is used in all Command and General Staff Colleges and is the underpinning basis of most US doctrine (like the center of gravity concept, what he calls the schwerpunkt or the hub of all things) and influences strategic thought about strategy, policy, and Civ-mil relationship.
