The quote I found most interesting:
"Not all those at Trump rallies are bigoted (obviously). But they are prepared to stand next to someone shouting chauvinist abuse or wearing a “Trump that bitch” T-shirt and conclude that if that’s what’s needed to defeat Mrs Clinton, then so be it. The best of Mr Trump’s supporters hope that, by letting a wrecking ball loose to demolish the slums and tenements of Washington politics, public life can be rebuilt—so that it represents real people, rather than elites and interest groups. When people conclude that politics is disgusting or absurd they lose faith in it. That usually makes things worse.
If Mr Trump actually wins the election, Republicans will have to meet the expectations he has created—of protectionism, spending increases allied to tax cuts, hostility to foreigners and a retreat from decades of foreign policy. That would make America poorer, weaker and less secure. Meanwhile, the Republican Party would still need the support of those who have cheered on Mr Trump. Far from being renewed, politics would become even nastier and more brutal."

Those are some pretty big allegations PO1 John Crafton that smack of popular right wing talking points. It's like I keep saying, it's either the devil you know or the devil you don't know. Talking tough and beating your chest doesn't mean anything if you have people in Congress actively plotting your demise and refusing to work with you. You may see Trump as the only viable alternative to Hillary but from my seat, all I see are 4 more years of Congressional obstructionism, only now it will be Republicans AND Democrats. At least with Hillary, Republicans know who she is and should have battle plans drawn up for her should she be elected. Trump would try to fire them as if he had that authority and make our political system an even bigger joke

Thanks for posting, I think. Interesting view points . His words are unacceptable but her actions are illegal.

So now that the election is finally over...let's all be professional and support the position of POTUS/CinC if you can not support the person.
Happy Thanksgiving!
