Powell voted for Hillary. So stop acting as if this position is something new.

I’ve heard that claim, but every video I’ve seen of Barr hasn’t had anything thrown at him. Any source you could point me to which shows projectiles being hurled at him?

SPC (Join to see) - According to the article: The official said that Barr was told police believed protesters were gathering rocks and that water bottles were thrown in his direction. CNN crews disputed the account, saying they did not witness any bottles thrown at Barr.
- Police believed? Either you know or don't know. This is the same bullshit approach they made when they killed the Iraqi General. We believe we had credible evidence he was a threat.
- CNN disputed the bottle throwing.
- The GOP lies all the time.

I think I commented somewhere else about the Colin Powell sock puppet show by Hillary... It is the comedy show where Hillary sticks her hand up his butt and makes him say things....

"Elite military club" is mostly pentagon lifers who are looking for their second career in the defense and/or consulting industry. None of them like anyone trying to stop or alter direction in our 20+ year global conflicts. Democrats used to be against on going wars and conflicts. Everyone in the establishment and their minions appears okay with endless wars in the middle east. They have become the status quo.
Powell has been a democrat supporter for the last 4 elections, this is dog bites man story. No news at all. Many of the former brass were against Trump in 2016 as we was not the establishment candidate. How many of these elite club members have been unable to win a 20 year war and have their fingerprints all over it?

MSgt Steve Sweeney Yes it does matter how much footage you see. If you only see the police acting like jack-booted thugs lobbing tear gas and fiting projectiles at a crowed you get the opinion you have. But ig you see the previous video showing thugs throwing bricks and bottles at police, showing criminals hitting unarmed white women with 2x4s showing looters setting fire and looting business, that in somecases are owned by the very people these looters are professing to support. Then instead of following the lies the main stream media wants you to believe you will come to be more worried about the same looters coming for you. I by no means am saying all police are great people. What i am saying is when you see something that does not sound right coming from media. Do your own research. The truth is out there to find.

MSgt Steve Sweeney - Which lie am I telling Steve? I can logically walk through all of my positions on a topic. Disagreement is always welcome. The non stop BS from you is over the top.
You can be against police brutality against anyone and also support law enforcement that does it right. You can be against racism and also against looting, burning, assault and battery etc. of citizens and law enforcement officers. You seem to think that if one opposes looting, burning and assault etc. you must be a racist. That is sheer idiocy.
We have the right to assemble peaceably and to petition our government. No one has a right to assault cops, loot, burn and destroy other's property or deny them of civil rights. That is not a right anyone has under any of our laws.

MSgt Steve Sweeney - You are a moron Steve and a dishonest one no less.
Peaceful protesting is protected behavior under the first amendment. Can you tell me which amendment protects looting, burning, assault and battery etc.? No, you can't because it doesn't exist.
They are not being conflated, they are being contrasted. Try a little critical thinking for a moment, as hard as that will be for you.
I have been clear on other posts that I do not support police brutality against anyone. What happened in the video to George Floyd was unacceptable and those responsible should be punished. I am not a fan of aggressive law enforcement or prosecutors etc. Nice try though.
Yes, I've already told you I don't work for Delta Airlines. I know you think you are clever, you are not. You are a loser that cannot make sound arguments so you attempt character assassination and personal attacks. I don't give a crap what you think about me. I live by simple rule. I try to treat others as I want to be treated. When people like you show up and demonstrate they are unable to interact without being a complete horses ass etc.. I return the insult.

Conservative media loves it when respected Conservative leaning military and former military leaders criticized Democratic leadership but heaven forbid they ever criticize Republican leadership.
Powell and others are classic military generals turn politician cause the Flag Officer corps is full of politics in and out of uniform. Some will say he’s a RINO cause he didn’t vote for McCain or Romney or Trump. The classic “you must vote the party line no matter what” mentality. Democrats suffer from the same ineptitude that gave them HRC and Biden as their candidates. Voter independence and free thought should be applauded.

Cpl Benjamin Long My orange godzilla? My enemies are scum of the earth? Weak candidates?
Sorry but you completely lost me with your post. Both parties are extremely weak and share the same interests: their wealthy donor base. The military has always been filled with politics especially at the GO level and political appointees. So tell me again who’s falling into the abyss and who supports the “orange godzilla”? Surely not me.

MAJ James Woods you think there is only two parties? Each party is a cabal of warring tribes that don't see their own fractures... power isn't about money... It's about who is left standing in the ashes at the end of the day

Cpl Benjamin Long Yeah. We’re a two party system that sabotages all third party movements. And within the two parties we see splintered groups: progressives, liberals, centrists, corporatists, conservatives, and libertarians. Power isn’t about money but money has the largest influence on political influence otherwise each party’s controlling faction wouldn’t be so against campaign finance reform and limited donations.
But yeah I wish our democracy was more open; thus, we would automatically see every party represented on the stage instead of rules that intentionally limits participation to Democratic and Republican candidates. Even an Independent has a hard time. What you expect when the debate committee is controlled by DNC and RNC.
