Many know the story of the fall of Singapore, though often it is the myths of the story that we think we know as the story. So where did the Japanese develop the tactics for jungle operations? Got to visit the Brit's command bunker in Singapore a decade or so ago. It's now a museum and well worth the admission. Fort Siloso, Bukit Chandu, and Changi Prison as well.

Also been to the command center in Singapore - interesting place. Will be in Sing visiting later next month.

My wife's Grandfather fought in Malaya with the British Army. There is a good book I recently read on the campaign titled "For Your Tomorrow, We gave our Today". One of the more interesting things is the diversity of the force facing the Japanese from the allied side and how the battle slowly turned to our favor etc. It is often forgotten but integral to the war in the Pacific.
